Course Overview
AR Tactics is an advanced, performance-driven course that combines practical carbine manipulation with close-quarters battle (CQB) tactics. Designed for experienced shooters, this class emphasizes efficient weapon handling, movement, communication, and decision-making under stress in both open and confined environments.
Whether you’re law enforcement, military, church security, private security, or an experienced armed citizen, this course will challenge you to think, move, and shoot with purpose. Through high-repetition drills and realistic scenarios, you’ll develop the skills needed to confidently solve problems with a carbine in dynamic situations.

Advanced AR/carbine manipulation
Weapon handling and reloads under stress
Shooting from 3–300 yards
Movement and engagement techniques
Vehicle-based tactics
Use of cover and unconventional shooting positions
CQB fundamentals and room clearing
Hallways, stairwells, and doorway tactics
Single-person and team movement
Communication and team responsibilities
Shoot/no-shoot decision-making
Force-on-force scenarios (when applicable)
After-action reviews to reinforce learning

Reliable, zeroed AR-style rifle with optic
Sling (required)
Chest rig, plate carrier, or battle belt capable of carrying at least two magazines
Minimum of four magazines
400 rounds of quality ammunition (no steel core, armor-piercing, or green-tip ammunition)
Electronic hearing protection
Eye protection
Shooting gloves (recommended)
Weather-appropriate clothing
Weapon lubricant and basic repair tools
Water, snacks, and lunch

Course Expectations:
This is a physically demanding, fast-paced training day focused on building reliable performance under pressure. Students should expect a high volume of repetitions, movement, problem-solving, and coaching throughout the day.
Class size is intentionally limited to ensure each student receives individualized instruction and meaningful repetitions.
